Safer Neighborhood Officer

Flexsource NI is currently recruiting for a Safer Neighbourhood Officer on a temporary full-time basis, covering the Belfast area, with a starting salary of £16.65 per hour

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

·        Enforce relevant legislation with a view to reducing incidents of antisocial behaviour, on-street drinking and environmental crime.

·        Work in, and with, local neighbourhoods to resolve community safety problems; providing a visible and accessible presence offering support, guidance and advice.

• Provide prompt resolution to low-level community safety issues such as graffiti, dumping, on-street drinking

·        To work in conjunction with local representatives or other partner organisations to identify solutions to community safety problems.

• To support the work of existing multi-agency structures

Requirements:

·        Applicants must have a full driving licence, and access to a form of transport

·        One years previous experience in an enforcement role

·        One years previous experience in community engagement

·        One years previous experience in interagency working
